Merry Christmas to All!

We had a good Christmas, although all the snow prevented Grandma, Grandpa George and Uncle Philip from making it up on Christmas. Andrew got up very early Christmas morning and there was no stopping him from opening his presents. It was a lot of fun to see Andrew more interested in the festivities this year, next year should be even better!

Let it Snow!

We had our first snow, FINALLY!! Andrew and I went out to watch Daddy shovel and do a little playing in the snow. He was trying to eat it off his mittens and dive in head first. We had to drag him inside before he froze to death.

I love Santa!

Andrew and I went to visit Santa at Macy's on Saturday. I was not expecting Andrew to be happy about sitting on a strangers lap, but I didn't think he would be so horrified by the nice man. Santa tried so hard to make friends, offering Andrew his bells to ring, but he would have nothing to do with it! Maybe next year.

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving in Salt Lake. Andrew, Grandma, and I made lots of pies while Grandpa George did everything else. Andrew is thinking of becoming a chef, he loves to help stir the bowl. He is a very picky eater right now so he ate some roll for dinner, would having nothing to do with turkey or mashed potatoes and gravy.

It's football time!

Walter, Andrew and I went to a BSU game on Saturday! Andrew had a lot more fun at this game then he did last time we took him. He smiled at lots of strangers and ate a little bit of hot dog! Go BSU!

1 year old!

Happy election day everyone! Andrew is one year old today and he is trying to walk. He took a few steps yesterday and few more today. Andrew also says dad and mama and he has start to "dance". It is so exciting to think how far we have come in 1 year. He has grown and changed so much and is such a joy in our lives! I can not imagine how we got by without him. He had his 1 year check-up and is weighing in at 23lb 12oz (65%) and is 30in tall (50%)

My FIRST Birthday Party!

We had Andrew's first birthday party today! We had quite the bash, all of Andrew's friends came over to help us celebrate. Everyone seemed to have a great time especially Andrew. He really enjoyed his cake most of all. Thanks everyone for making his birthday so special!

11 months old!

Andrew is still very much on the move. He is currently working on his walking legs, no solo walking yet though! Thank goodness! The video is Andrew using his early birthday present (from Grandma Terry) Thanks Grandma I love it!

Andrew got visits from both of my parents this month! He had lots of fun playing and reading with both of them.

Andrew is a very busy boy these days! He is crawling very well and pulling up on furniture trying to cruise around.

We got a bike trailer for Andrew to go along on bike trips with the family! He seems to be a big fan, although he did not love his helmet at first.

9 months old!

Andrew is 9 months old and I can't believe how fast he is growing. At his 9 month check-up he was 23lb 6oz (85%) and 28 1/2in tall (55%). He has started to army crawl now and so we can not turn away for a minute.

Swim lessons!

Andrew and I just completed his first set of swimming lessons. We had a great time and although Andrew can not swim yet, he is happy to be in the water!
