Christmas in Salt Lake City

This year we decided to travel over the mountains to Salt Lake for Christmas. Uncle Philip was in town from Indiana and cousin Chelsea was home from Washington D.C. We had a great time getting to spend time with my family. We were very busy, Christmas Eve was at Bompa and Bobci's house with traditional polish food. Christmas morning we opened presents with Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Philip and then we headed to Great Grandpa Phil's for breakfast and more presents! Christmas is so much fun with a 2 year old, he understands the concept of presents and was excited to see that Santa had eaten the cookies we left for him. Christmas dinner was at Jane's house with lots of good food and more friends and family to visit with. The rest of our trip was filled with snow and sledding and lots more fun! We are very blessed to have such a great extended family in SLC!

Happy 2nd Birthday Andrew

Andrew had a great 2nd birthday! First and foremost Andrew wanted chocolate cake for his birthday so he helped me do a little baking to get ready for his parties. We had Andrew's playgroup over in the afternoon for a little birthday party. It is always a lot of fun to have his friends over and they all enjoyed the cupcakes. In the evening we opened presents with mom and dad, had macaroni and cheese for dinner and then cake for dessert. It was so much fun to watch Andrew open his presents, he is so into it now, he yells "presents" and squeals in delight when he sees what the gift is. He also loves blowing out birthday candles, I think we saying 3 times with a candle every time!

We also had a family birthday party for Andrew on Saturday, we waited because Grandma wanted to fly up and help us celebrate. We had pizza and more cake and of course more presents!

Happy Halloween

Andrew had all his friends over for a Halloween party this weekend. We all got dressed up ate lots of good food and then went out trick-or-treating. Andrew was a dragon, mommy was a witch, and daddy was a vampire. It was so much fun trick-or-treating this year, I can't wait for many more years of fun!

The Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday we bundled up and went to the Linder Farms pumpkin patch. We all had a great time, most of all Andrew because he got to go on a tracker ride.
