Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! The morning was so much fun, when the kids faces just lit up when saw all their presents! Andrew loved his firestation and Aiden was having a blast in his ball pit.

For Christmas dinner we went to Aunt Ann and Uncle Von's house for ham and mac and cheese! Aunt Annie had a fun game for us all to play before we unwrapped our real gifts. We had to take turns unwrapping a heavily wrapped package while wearing gloves and a hat (very fun)!

Botanical Garden - Lights A Glow

Andrew loves the Lights a Glow especially the hot cocoa! It was freezing but we had a great time checking out all the lights and trains

Getting ready for Christmas

We started decorating for Christmas this weekend! Daddy was obviously a big help while watching football from the couch!

We also headed to the Christmas tree festival were the boys visited Santa and did some crafts

Thanksgiving 2012

We hosted Thanksgiving this year and Grandma came up to celebrate with us as well. We kept it pretty simple turkey, potatoes, stuffing, green beans and lots of pie (pumpkin, lemon cream, and apple crisp)! Happy Thanksgiving!

Andrew's Birthday Weekend

Andrew wanted to go miniature golfing for his birthday this year! Saturday we invited four of his friends to join us at Wahooz for mini golf and video games! The kids had a great time celebrating and we all had a fun watching them run around.

On Sunday we had a family party for Andrew and Emma (whose birthday is on the 2nd). We had a mexican fiesta with tacos, burritos, rice and beans. It was great to celebrate with everyone!

Andrew turns 4!!!

I can't believe that my baby is 4 already! Andrew is the most amazing little boy he is so smart and kind. Andrew goes to school 3 days a week now. He has become very interested in writing and spelling and can write all of his letters. He also love chapter books, we have begun reading early chapter books and he can't get enough, he will be reading in no time.

On the big day Andrew had school so we opened a few presents before leaving and then headed out with our rice krispy treats to share with our friends! After school we opened the rest of our gifts and then went to Red Robin for a birthday dinner.

Halloween

Happy Halloween! Grandma came up to visit, she just can't miss those cute little boys! This year was a lot of fun because Andrew and Aiden could both go out and trick-or-treating. Andrew has such a funny personality, you would think he would be running house to house excited for the candy, but no. He slowly sauntered from house to house, tripping over and over spilling his goods! All in all it was a great Halloween!

Winder Farms Pumpkin Patch

We headed out to the farm to pick our pumpkins. The kids had a great time and Aiden thought all the pumpkins were balls.

Shawn and Matt get married!

My cousin Shawn got moarried in Las Vegas this weekend so we all went down to celebrate! We had fun (as much fun as you can have we kids in Vegas). Highlight: Andrew throwing a fit before the wedding because he wanted to be a flower girl, he ended up getting to walk with the flower girls, but only made it half way down the isle before running out!
