New Room

Aiden finally got his own space!! Actually it happened the end of January but I finally got it all put together and took some pictures. Now my baby sleeps through the night in his very own room.

Aiden is finally big enough to sit up in the bath so the boys can bathe together. It is so fun to see them interact and it saves time and water!!

A Little Comparison

Here is a picture of both my babies at 7 months just for fun!

7 months old

Aiden is growing up fast. He has mastered the army crawl this month, although he only uses his skills if the object he wants to get to is about a foot away -- any further than that and he just bounces his head up and down. He has also learned to sit up on his own with only the very occasional tip over.

Aiden still is not in love with baby food (of course because I have the coolest baby food maker). Carrots, however, are the one food I can get him to open his mouth for. Aiden also loves his rice crackers and chunks of fruit in his baby feeder. He is still nursing about 6 times a day. Aiden also got his first bottom tooth last week (2/23). He has been clicking his tongue lately and then blowing big raspberries!!!

Aiden and Andrew both came down with RSV last week. It was horrible -- coughs that wouldn't stop, fevers, and stuffiness. This was Aiden's first illness and it was very sad, but he was a trooper! They are both on the mend now thank goodness. Most importantly Aiden is still consistently sleeping through the night. He wakes once in the early AM hours to nurse and then sleeps until 8 or 9 am. Aiden is the happiest little man and is always excited to play with his big brother and especially excited to see daddy when he gets home from work.
