This week Aiden was a little slow, not a whole lot going on. Aiden recovered pretty quick from his surgery but we stuck close to home and did some organizing around the house! I found a few pictures on Walt's phone from the week.

January 2012 - Week 3
This week we finally had some snow of course it all melted within a day of falling. The boys were so happy to play and shovel! I didn't get any pics of Andrew because it was a school day!
Aiden had surgery this week to repair a umbilical hernia and a hydrocele. We found out that he needed to have surgery back in November. It has been a battle through insurance issues and doctors leaving the practice but finally it came together. I think it was more tramatic for Walt and I, Aiden barely lost his stride. We had to be at the hospital at 8:15am so we dropped Andrew at school a little early (which he was so excited about) and headed to St. Lukes downtown. Aiden had lots of fun playing in the surgery play area and before he knew what was going on he was back awake with a new and improved belly button and his testies all repaired!

January 2012 - Week 2
This week were getting back to our routine of school and work. We were short one car this week however (passat was in the shop) so there was a lot of chauffeuring going on! Andrew's class had a field trip to the Morrison center this week and he had a great time, he said it was very important trip! We took the boys to a BSU basketball game on Saturday and they both loved it. Aiden kept yelling "BALL" and Andrew was very interested in everything technical.

New year New Blog! January 2012 - Week 1
Happy 2012! To start off the new year I am going to try to start posting weekly to keep a more up to date record of our lives! This week Grandma and Grandpa visited and we had lots of fun hanging around not really doing much. Andrew was out of school still so we went to the new aquarium in Boise. It was a little "homemade" but the kids loved it, lots of touch and feel tanks and the boys loved sticking their arms in with the fish.
Andrew and I have been reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and I promised we would watch the movie when we finished so this weekend we read a little extra and had a movie night! Andrew though it was amazing! We also had a surprise retirement party for Grandad Clyde (he retired on December 30th) this weekend, the kids loved the decorations!
