Well it turns out that I can not keep up with my weekly blog. The summer got away from me, so here is my attempt at an August recap.  

We went to the Idaho State Fair. Andrew is tall enough for most of the kid rides so he had a great time going on as many as he could. Aiden however only got to go on a few, but he had great time with what he got!

We headed down one very early morning to watch them inflate and launch hot air balloons at the Boise Balloon Classic. The boys were in aw of all the flames and balloons. Grandma was also here this week so she got to tag along.

We started Aiden's birthday off by opening presents first thing! it was also the last day swimming lessons for the summer. Aiden requested chocolate cupcakes for his birthday so we had some cake and then went out for frozen yogurt at Blue Cow!

On August 11 we had Aiden's party, we were waiting for Uncle Philip, Grandma and Grandpa to get into town. Aiden invited all of his friends over for a BBQ with a balloon artist to entertain and the pool as also out for some swimming.

July 2012 - Week 1

This was a busy week. We had the 4th of July on Wednesday, my birthday Thursday plus our drive down to Utah. Forth of July was fun we went to the Webb house for a BBQ with the family and did some fireworks!

We went to Utah for my friend Melina's wedding and while were down there we had lots of fun. We went to Hogle Zoo with the Battles

Grandma had a condo for the week at Snowbird so Walt and I spent a night without the kids and then grandma brought the boys for a day of fun!

June 2012 - Week 4

This week was busy (or at least it felt that way). I got a new iPhone as an early birthday gift this week so I have more pictures from being out and about. This is the first picture from my phone - of the boys with their popsicles.

Tuesday we used our "kids bowl free" passes and had played a rousing game of bowling! It took an hour to bowl one game and I didn't even bowl myself.

Saturday we had plans to go camping overnight with some friends above Idaho City. This was this first time we have camped in 3 years and the first time with 2 kids and I was a little scared! It turned out fairly well considering there was no running water or bathrooms. The kids had so much fun and were hardly recognizable from all the dirt and gunk they had all over them. Needless to say they were put straight into the tub when we got home!

June 2012 - Week 3

This week we were still recovering and getting back to our routine after vacation. Friday night Andrew and Walter participated in their 2nd Main Street Mile! Andrew did a great job running and Aiden loved cheering him on.
